Introducing the Verra Door: A New Take on the Slim Shaker Cabinet — At Superior Cabinets, we’ve never been shy about setting trends rather than following them. When we launched our first slim shaker cabinet door back in 2018, we were ahead of the curve — and we’re proud to say we’ve led the way ever since. Now, we’re excited to introduce the newest addition to our lineup: Verra, a fresh take on our beloved Eryn slim shaker, offering just the right amount of bold refinement.

A Style That Sits Right in Between
If you’re looking for a cabinet door that isn’t quite a traditional shaker, but not quite a slim shaker either, Verra might be the one. With a 1 1/8″ stile and rail, it’s wider than the 7/8″ Eryn Slim Shaker, yet much narrower than the classic 2 1/4” shaker. Think of it as the perfect middle ground — a door that bridges the gap between modern minimalism and classic comfort.

This thoughtful in-between profile makes it ideal for homeowners or designers who are on the fence. Want something clean and sleek, but not too skinny? Something timeless, but not too traditional? Verra hits the sweet spot.
Built with Substance
Just like the Eryn, the Verra Two Piece door is a bit thicker than most, coming in at 7/8″ thick rather than the standard 3/4″. This gives it a premium, solid feel in hand and a slightly more substantial look once installed — ideal for those who appreciate design that feels as good as it looks.
The Verra Door features Cope and Stick joinery, with the frame pieces (rails and stiles) joined at a 90-degree angle using a tongue-and-groove design, also known as a mortise and tenon joint, unlike the Eryn Slim Shaker Door, which is mitered. Choose from a curated selection of wood species — including Maple, Oak, Cherry, Rift Cut White Oak, and Black Walnut — with availability in stained finishes (natural finishes are only offered on Black Walnut and handcrafted finishes). Please note: Verra is not available in Hickory or Rustic.
A New Classic in the Making
Since launching the Eryn Slim Shaker, we’ve seen the rise of similar names in the market — from Skinny Shaker, Micro Shaker, Narrow Shaker, Thin Shaker, Modified Shaker, and beyond. But make no mistake: not all slim shakers are created equal. As we shared in our article “Will the Real Slim Shaker Please Stand Up?”, Superior Cabinets has built a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and design leadership in this segment.

Verra is the next evolution — a design-forward option that still feels warm, classic, and unmistakably Superior.
Ready to See It?
Whether you’re planning a renovation or designing a new kitchen from scratch, the Verra door style offers versatility and visual impact. It’s modern without being stark, timeless without being traditional — the best of both worlds.
