For 2025, we are pleased to announce several important updates to this collection, including five new finishes, expanded door style eligibility, and a streamlined construction specification that enhances value and consistency.
Five New Sandwash Finishes
The Sandwash palette now includes five new textured paint colours on MDF inspired by organic hues and subtle coastal tones:
- Sandwash Pearl – A warm, soft white with a gentle matte texture.
- Sandwash Sea Grass – A muted grey-green with understated depth.
- Sandwash Kelp – An earthy, deeper green ideal for grounded, natural spaces.
- Sandwash Riptide – A navy-inspired blue with quiet sophistication.
- Sandwash Trench – A rich charcoal perfect for modern or dramatic design statements.

These additions broaden the palette and make Sandwash even more versatile across kitchen, bath, and whole-home cabinetry applications.

Four Additional Door Styles Now Available in Sandwash
The Sandwash Collection now offers four additional MDF door styles—previously unavailable in this finish group. These are not new door styles; they have long been part of our offering, and are now available within the Sandwash collection, giving clients more design freedom.
- Chicago – 2¼” frame with an outer bevel and inside detail
- Dakota – 2¼” frame with a 1/8″ outer radius and shallow panel
- Tisdale – 2¼” frame with a 1/8″ outer radius and inside bevel profile
- Renfrew – 3″ frame with a 1/8″ outer radius and a 90-degree inside edge

These expanded options allow designers to pair the soft Sandwash aesthetic with both transitional and modern door profiles.
Updated Construction Specification: Moving to a Unified 1-Sided Finish
To simplify the Sandwash program, all Sandwash finishes will now be offered as 1-sided (1S) finishes only, including previously 2-sided options such as Sandwash Laguna and Sandwash Orca.
What does 1-sided mean?
- Painted face and edges.
- A clean white melamine back, for increased cleanability and durability.

Designed Exclusively for Superior Cabinets Corporate Stores
For now, these enhancements are available only through Superior Cabinets Corporate Stores. The updated Sandwash Collection represents the next step in refined, approachable design—offering a calm matte finish, an expanded palette, and a broader range of compatible door styles. If you’re exploring a soft, elevated look for your next project, the new Sandwash textured paint options offer endless inspiration.
