FUSION FINISHES ON MDF BY SUPERIOR CABINETS, HANDCRAFTED INNOVATION
(Saskatoon, December 6th, 2016) – Superior Cabinets will be launching their award-winning innovative handcrafted MDF Fusion Finishes line to the US market at the KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) in Orlando, Florida in January 2017.
Superior Cabinets has seen significant growth with its Fusion Finishes line of cabinets on MDF and it has quickly become the top selling product offering at Superior Cabinets. The product, which was launched in 2010, was developed out of necessity as the cabinetry market shifted its focus to wood alternative cabinets. “We were looking for an alternative to Thermofoil to accommodate the ever-growing multi-unit segment of the business,” said Adam Taman, Business Development Manager of Superior Cabinets. “The team started to experiment with stain on Medium Density Fiberbord (MDF), and the results were nothing short of phenomenal.”
Adapting their portfolio to serve the ever changing needs of the market has been pivotal to Superior’s success over their 35 year history. “We have incorporated many Lean and 5S methodologies into our manufacturing facility,” said Jason Warkentin, Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain of Superior Cabinets. “This organization has allowed us to be nimble to respond to the market and our client’s needs.” Aligning their business operations to be customer driven is an essential component to Superior’s ongoing success.
Fusion Finishes has been instrumental in growing their US network of dealers. “This product line allows many of our US dealers the chance to offer something that has never been offered before in their market,” said Taman. “Differentiation allows our dealers to stand out and offer a handcrafted product at an affordable price.
