Have you started your Holiday Baking? Imagine a snowy day in 1980, your grandmother is rolling dough on the kitchen countertops…. Just kidding, we won’t bore you with a story and will get to the point! This Company’s Coming Butter Tarts recipe has legendary status at Superior Cabinets, so we had to share it.

BUTTER TARTS

Ingredients

  • 1/3 Cup Raisins [to suit taste]
  • 12 Tart Shells
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar [packed]
  • 3 Tablespoons Margarine
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Place unbaked tart shells on a cookie sheet, add several raisins to each shell.
  • Combine remaining ingredients.
  • Fill tart shells with mixture over the raisins to about ¾ full, or until raisins are covered.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • 10-12 minutes is usually enough time, but each oven is different.
  • Recipe can be doubled or tripled with excellent results.
