You have asked and we have answered. Many clients have requested blue grey cabinets and we have been working on a new colour, welcome Fusion Pacific. There is no doubt that blue grey cabinets are hot and we are excited for this new painted MDF colour. This will be available at the Superior Cabinets Corporate Stores in Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary and Edmonton on May 1st, 2021 and will be available to our Authorized Dealers partners very soon.

INSPIRATION FOR THIS COLOUR

Fusion Pacific is a prefect blend of a rich grey colour with a blue undertone, which will be a welcome addition to our extensive collection of painted Fusion Finishes on MDF. This is that perfect shade of grey that doesn’t need to apologize for being blue.

We started with an inspiration colour called Granite Peak [SW 6250] by Sherwin-Williams, our coatings partner. This colour isn’t an exact match, but pays homage to this popular colour by Sherwin-Williams.

HOW TO CREATE A LOOK

Fusion Pacific is perfect as a standalone colour if you are comfortable with a blue grey cupboard. If you are interested in a two-toned kitchen, try pairing Fusion Pacific on your lower cabinets and pair it with a white painted MDF finish, such as Fusion Icicle or Fusion Prosecco (Matte). If crisp white uppers aren’t your thing, and you want a lighter colour with some personality, try coupling Fusion Pacific with Fusion Quarry.

As for cabinetry hardware, consider pairing Fusion Pacific with Chrome, Brushed Nickle, or Gold hardware if you are feeling bold. Black cabinetry hardware could also work with this cabinet colour, however it isn’t as popular as chrome or brushed nickel right now, but we suspect that will change.

To top it off, consider a cleaner and crisp white countertop, which pair beautify. If you fancy Quartz Countertops, consider pairing Fusion Pacific with Caesarstone Frozen Terra, Silestone Classic Calacatta, HanStone Montauk or LG Hausys Willow White.
