Karina McRae has 15 years of experience in the kitchen cabinetry industry of Edmonton, Alberta, supported by a lifelong passion for design and construction. Growing up in a family-owned cabinet-making business, she developed early, hands-on exposure to both shop and on-site work, which shaped her strong foundation in the trade.

With early exposure to the cabinetry industry, Karina pursued her Interior Design Diploma at NAIT with the intent of becoming a kitchen designer one day. She began her career in 2011 as a design assistant, shadowing a senior designer, and soon moved on to working on her own files, including retail and contractor accounts.

Karina prides herself on advocating for her customers and providing great quality products and design. Over the years, Karina has learned the importance of strong working relationships with both contractors and homeowners, as well as of being creative in her problem-solving.

Outside of work, Karina enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She values time with family and friends, staying active through yoga and golf, and, when possible, exploring the world, all while having a smile on her face.
