On Tuesday June 23rd, 2015, Superior Cabinets Saskatoon participated in a build day with Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon. The build was located at 119 Avenue S South in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The team assisted with a few hands-on tasks in 2 separate units including hanging drywall, painting, and most importantly, teambuilding! Superior Cabinets would like to thank the Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon team for their efforts and for their on-site hospitality.

ABOUT AVENUE S SOUTH PROJECT:
This is a unique and exciting project for Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon. In partnership with the Prairie Spirit School division Da Vinci project these homes will be constructed almost entirely by students from WW Brown high school in Langham. Starting in grade 10 students get out from behind desks and learn hands on construction skills building these modular homes. Students are instructed in safety, construction skills, and gain “real-life experience.” Students who are part of this program have truly taken ownership of building these homes. While working on this project students earn credit towards their journey-person certification in carpentry.
