On February 18th, 2015 Saskatoon based Kitchen Designer, Kevin Worman, The Kitchen Design Specialist, had an opportunity to share his presentation on “Kitchen Design 101” with the Interior Decorating students from the Academy of Learning College Saskatoon.
Kevin took the time to share a day in the life of a kitchen designer and touched base on the countless rewards and benefits of choosing kitchen design as a career path. Kevin’s well-rounded experience gave the students a broad perspective of the industry, demonstrating that it in the kitchen business you must be customer driven and hard work always pays off. “Giving these students an inside look into the industry is so important and brings me great joy,” says Kevin Worman.
“Kevin’s presentation shared the importance of professionals proving competence and building trust with clients”
“This presentation will help me do the right things for my customers”
“A great step by step tutorial of how to handle a project”
“Kevin shared to always understand your client’s lifestyle, so you can reflect that into the design”
The AOL Saskatoon students also toured the Superior Cabinets Manufacturing facility with the production and plant leadership team. Here the students witness firsthand where Superior builds and manufactures all of their kitchens for their 6 retail stores and dealer network. Here students had a first-hand overview of all of the work required to make beautiful custom kitchens.
Superior Cabinets would like to thank Kevin Worman for his leadership and taking the time for this important topic. Superior would also like to thank the Academy of Learning College Interior Decorating students and Kristopher Kershaw for taking the time to share the day.
