This is the most common and most difficult question to answer for any professional kitchen designer. This is because every space is unique and has its challenges and requirements. Homeowners also have different needs and wants for their space, which is why each design can have so many variables that impact the total cost of their cabinets.

TYPICAL KITCHEN REMODEL COSTS
$$ = Basic Space, Standard Finish Options, 30” Standard Upper Cabinet Height, Laminate/Formica Countertop with a basic edge ($9K-$15K +or- ).
$$$ = Larger space with an island or peninsula, 38” – 39” uppers to the ceiling with a two-stage crown moulding, basic Granite or Quartz Countertops ($18K-$35K +or- ).
$$$$$ = As BIG as you can imagine.
COMMON KITCHEN LAYOUT SHAPES
Size, box count, and shape also play into the total cost. For example, kitchens with corners cost more money. This is because corner cabinets and countertop for that area can be expensive, and expect to increase your budget if you want a Lazy Susan or other pullout corner cabinet accessory.
FACTORS THAT IMPACT THE COST OF A CABINET
The most common variables that impact the cost of a cabinet are:
- Wood Species or Door Material
- Cabinetry Finish
- Door Profile
- Drawer Box/ Drawer System
- Drawer Slides/Runner Quality and Adjustment Features
- Cabinet Count
- Configuration [Top Elevation Height, Drawer Count, etc.]
- Mouldings, Trims, and Hardware
- Accessories and Inserts
